Disney Dalmatian & Fire Hydrant
Ceramic Teapot ~ A really cute 101 Dalmatians collectible teapot
marked "Disney Sakura NY, Made in China". This was
produced a number of years ago and is now very hard to find. In
excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. There is one
small rough spot inside the top of the teapot where the lid sits - I
believe it is a manufacturing flaw. (Cannot be seen with the lid
on.) Love these bright colors! |

1950's Vintage Ceramic Made in Japan Tea
Set ~ This pretty Japanese tea set looks like it could be brand new,
but I'm certain it is at least 50 years old. How do I know?
The set was acquired from an estate, where many of the items had been
stored in the attic for years. When unpacking this set, we were
surprised to find it wrapped in a 1953 newspaper. We discarded the
outer paper, but there is still some of it inside the teapot protecting
the ceramic strainer insert. I've looked the teapot and 4 cups over
carefully, and cannot find a single flaw. The teapot is 5" high
and 7.5" wide. The cups are 1.75" high with a 2.75"
diameter. All are marked "Made in Japan" on the bottom in
black. There is an etched design on one side of the teapot with a
sunflower type motif (facing camera); the other side has five
Japanese characters and flowers that look like cherry blossoms. The
cups have white painted Japanese characters outside; the inside is painted
green and glazed. A very nice old set in fantastic condition. |

Huge West German Kaiser Porcelain Teapot or
Tea Kettle w/ Brass Handle ~ Beautiful and very heavy white
porcelain tea pot or kettle manufactured in Western Germany. The pot
itself stands about 8" high, and is about 10" high to the top of
the heavy brass handle, and is about 9.5" across from the spout to
the other side. It features a very colorful scene of two exotic
looking birds -- one on each side (they are in different poses). In
addition, there is a gorgeous floral design that goes all the way around,
in blue, pink, purple, yellow, orange and green. The piece is
extensively marked on the bottom. There is a black and gold foil
sticker that reads "Golden Crown E&R Western Germany", a
blue underglaze crown and AK/Kaiser mark, the word "Nanking"
(which I assume is the pattern), and the number 35. I believe this
is a contemporary piece, probably made in the 1970's to 1980's. I
did not find any chips or cracks, but there is some very small amount of
scratching where the heavy brass handle has rubbed on the side, and a tiny
black dot on the brass handle (may be just tarnish -- might come
off). These minor flaws are hard to notice unless you are looking
closely for them. I suppose you could use it, but I believe it was
meant to be a display piece, as it weighs 4 pounds. We also acquired
a large matching round charge plate in this pattern. Why not buy
both and have an impressive display? See the
China section to find the charger plate. FREE insured UPS
Ground shipping in the continental USA if you purchase both! |

on the gold in a couple places from handling. Comes with a Certificate of
Authenticity and photo of the Statue of Liberty showing the flame detail. |

after World War II, between 1945 and 1949, and marked U.S. Zone Germany
on the bottom. The teapot measures 8.5" tall to the lid's

beautiful condition to use or display. We have a matching covered
sugar bowl and 3 cup/saucer sets in stock, and are happy to combine
shipments to save postage. |

Enoch Wedgwood Tunstall English Blue
Transferware Teapot - Woodland Pattern ~ The Kovel's Dictionary of
Marks identifies this as a Wedgwood mark #5H, which dates its manufacture
to sometime since 1965. It measures approximately 9" high by
9" wide from handle to spout and features a very pretty country
wooded scene with lots of trees, a church, and a man with a 2-horse team
pulling a wagon load of hay. There is a floral pansy type pattern
all the way around the top edge and on the spout. Some minor
roughness wear on the bottom edge where it sits on the table and one tiny
flat flake on that bottom edge, but I did not find any chips or
cracks. A lovely teapot to use or display with pride! |
