Business Hours
The online shop is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a
week. However, as a family business, we are not
available around the clock. For the most part, we keep
"normal" business hours Monday thru Friday. We are
generally out on weekends, go on buying trips at least twice a year, and are
closed during major holidays to spend time with loved ones. Orders and
e-mail are answered as promptly as possible, although it may occasionally
take extra time for us to get back to you, depending on the circumstances.
When you contact us, please keep in
mind that we are in the Pacific Time zone.
In our absence from the shop, there is the possibility
of duplicate orders, as our shopping cart cannot track
inventory. If more than one person orders the same item, the first
order will take precedence. Any subsequent orders for that item(s) will
receive a full refund when we return to the office. This rarely
happens, but please accept our apology if it does.
Postage rates quoted in
our listings are for UPS Ground
in the continental USA only. Air and international
shipping are available upon request --
additional charges apply. If you are located outside the continental
USA, please do
not
use the shopping cart to make a purchase..... it is not configured for
international postage rates. If you require air or international
shipping, please
contact us by e-mail to order, or use the Manual Order Form located on
each shopping page.
Shipments are normally sent
within two business days, although we do try to have them out
the next day whenever possible. This is to allow us time to
carefully pack your purchase for safe delivery. If you place an
order after Noon on Friday, or over a weekend, it will most likely ship
the following Tuesday. If you have concerns about our shipping
schedule, please
contact us before placing an order.
We do not ship by Priority
Mail. Our nearest full service Post Office is a 40 minute round
trip from our rural location, whereas UPS picks up from our shop every
business day. Because UPS cannot deliver to PO boxes, all orders
must provide a physical street address for delivery. We realize that
some of you may not prefer this, but we need to stick to this policy in
order to best serve the majority of our customers. Thank you for
your understanding.
One last note.... all sales
are final once the item has been shipped, so please be sure to
ask questions and request additional photos if you would like to see them. We try
to include everything we know about an item, and are as thorough as
possible with descriptions, be we aren't experts on every collecting topic. If you
are uncertain about any item we're selling, and need to know more, please
write to us before placing an order. All item quantities
should be assumed to be one, unless the listing specifically states that
multiples are available.
