1963 Sugar and
Spike Silver Age Comic Book No. 48 ~ August-September issue in
excellent overall condition. No tears, cut-outs, mailing label, or
writing in the book. The pages have yellowed with time, and the book
has some general non-specific handling wear. The center two pages
have come unattached from the staples -- this is the only notable flaw I
have found. The staples are in excellent condition with almost no
rust. I don't know much about comic/paper grading, but I would call
it fine to very fine condition. |

Collier's Magazine - August 3, 1956 - Gaza
Strip / Middle East & Marilyn Monroe Cover ~ Good to Very Good
copy of a 1956 Colliers Magazine, stored in plastic. All pages intact and
in good condition. Cover has creasing, minor edge chipping, and the edge
(around staples) has some small splits, but all pages are firmly attached.
Pages are yellowed from age. Overall in nice collectible condition. |

Guy Mannering by Sir Walter Scott Early 1900's Book
~ Vintage book measuring 6.5" by 4.5" in good condition. There
is a page missing between the title page and the Introduction, so I don't
know it's exact printing date. However, there is a pencil dedication from
one person to another dated Christmas 1912. At some point this book
belonged to the Mason and Dixon Library in Cardiff Maryland -- there is an
ink stamp inside the cover, and a very old fabric label on the spine. The
paper on the back inside cover is torn... looks like a label had once been
attached there (probably from the library). All 532 pages appear to be
intact. |

Features Marilyn Monroe and Betty Grable on the cover, and a 2-page center
photo of Rita Hayworth. In excellent to near mint condition -- the
only apparent flaw is a slight bend to the upper right corner of the cover,
as seen in the photo. Very nice! |
